How do I purchase tickets on this site?

Tickets can be purchased with a major credit card such as Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Once you decide the date, time, and seat selection for the event you want to purchase then click the BUY button and start the secure checkout process. Follow the prompts until the end of the transaction where you will get a message that says transaction complete.

When I order through GoldTickets.ca; what is included in the payment?

When you buy tickets through GoldTickets.ca you pay the ticket price, a delivery fee, and any taxes that apply. During the checkout process you will see the delivery fee and then the taxes will be included in the purchase price at the end.

Are tickets charged in U.S. dollars?

Yes all tickets are charged in US dollars.

What if I want to cancel my ticket order?

All orders are final, there are no refunds, cancellations or exchanges. The sellers who list tickets on our online exchange are not able to cancel orders for refunds.

What do I do if the seller rejects my ticket order?

Multiple requests may come for the same set of tickets before the ticket seller is able to remove the listing from appearing on our site. When this happens the seller may be forced to reject one of the orders. If this happens you will need to reorder tickets for the event.

Will I be charged a delivery fee for local pickup of tickets?

Yes, because the fee for local pickup orders covers the costs that sellers incur while using these express delivery methods, such as paying an employee to drive to the venue or meet you at the agreed upon pickup location.

What are the shipping methods for the tickets?

Most of the tickets are E-Tickets; when your E-Tickets are ready, you will receive an email with instructions for downloading them. You must print your E-Tickets and take them with you to the venue. Another type is Instant Download; in most cases, tickets will be ready to download within 20 minutes of placing your order. You must print your E-Tickets and take them with you to the venue. In case your event has only a hard-copy ticket; FedEx is the standard delivery method used by sellers who list tickets on GoldTIckets.ca. FedEx is fast with shipments that can be tracked easily, which makes it an ideal method for time sensitive items like event tickets. If the ticket seller ships the ticket to the customer in any order where the seller’s address is in a different country from the delivery address is an international order. So, if you purchase tickets to an event in the US, and the ticket seller who filled your order is based in the US but your delivery address is in Canada, that order would require international shipping and fees.

Will my tickets arrive before the event?

In most cases your tickets are delivered within 3 business days, but in some cases your tickets may take longer to ship. About Your Tickets

Does it matter if there is someone else's name on my ticket?

Having someone else’s name on the ticket will not prevent you from getting in the event! As long as there is a valid bar code on the ticket, the ticket is valid for entry into the event. The independent ticket sellers who list tickets on our website are part of the secondary ticketing market. This means that they purchase large amounts of tickets from the box office or directly from the venue, before selling them through GoldTicket.ca. The name on your ticket is the name of a representative from the ticket seller’s office who purchased the tickets originally.

Why are my tickets printed out on paper?

This happens when the seller of your tickets received them in an email format from the original source where the tickets were purchased. The seller then prints out the emailed ticket and sends it to you. These tickets are just as valid as any other ticket, and will grant you access to the event.

Why is the price on my tickets different from the price I paid for them?

Individual sellers may choose to price their tickets above or below face value, which is the price you see printed on the tickets. In addition to the ticket price, your order also includes a delivery fee, as well as applicable taxes. These fees are calculated for you during the checkout process so you can see the ticket price, the delivery fee amount, and the total price of your order before you complete your purchase.

What if an event is cancelled?

If your event is cancelled entirely with no rescheduled date, you should contact your seller directly for a 100% refund not including shipping fees. You may be required to return the tickets to the seller in order to obtain a refund. If your event is rescheduled, your tickets will be honored for the rescheduled.

If an event is postponed, your tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.
